Southampton Sea City Museum
An exciting cultural project based within the Grade II listed Magistrates Court. The new museum brings Southampton’s Maritime Heritage to life in a series of interactive displays and exhibits telling the story of the Titanic and its voyage in 1912 and its relationship to the community in Southampton.
We were privileged to be involved in the design of the flooring within the new Pavilion, a modern extension to the existing building. Working Closely with Wilkinson Eyre Architects and Kier Southern to achieve the right design and finish for their vision of this significant Project.
Project Size 400m2
Finished Floor Height Up to 800 mm
Flooring Type Heavy Duty with Industrial Oak Finish
There were significant design challenges that were overcome as there were substantial services contained within the floor void that required bespoke support solutions.
